STEM opportunities for participation in 2015

Maryland Business Roundtable for Education <> (MBRT), a coalition of more than 100 leading employers supporting education reform and student achievement across the state.

Although highly ranked nationally, the state still struggles to bring science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education into its curriculum — so key to building our future workforce.

MBRT is seeking volunteers for the following programs (to participate, follow the links to online registration instructions):

*   Maryland Scholars Speakers Bureau<>: Bring students the message that achievement in school will pay off in college, the workplace, and life.

*   STEM Specialists in the Classroom<>: Engage students in hands-on learning experiences that demonstrate real-world applications of STEM content and skills. Each program requires a minimal commitment of time away from work, including short training sessions and classroom presentations/demonstrations, respectively.

Any interested volunteers should register for an account at<>.
